I've been meaning to tell you all loads of random things! And then I was in no mood to post for days, and now I have forgotten most of what I wanted to tell you. Lucky for you. :D
The lack of posting mood is mainly due to my Pottering all the time. Last Friday, I went to see HP 7.1 a second time. In German. :( It was pretty horrible. Voldemort has a reaaaally ridiculous voice, the woman dubbing Emma Watson ruined Emma's great acting, and the translation wasn't very good either. On top of it, I hadn't realised what an annoying fangirl a friend of mine I was going with could be. She's one of those people who have to show off how well they know the books, constantly saying things like, "didn't they put scene xy in? I can't believe they left scene xy out!" And she just wouldn't stop, not even during the really intense scenes, and it kind of ruined the second see a little. But it was lovely nonetheless, and I sobbed my eyes out over Dobby again. <3
On the 21st of November, I started my epic reread of the Harry Potter series. I'm now two thirds into Goblet of Fire, and it's really difficult to tear myself away from the books for revisions. (Because unfortunately, school has not just stopped existing so that I can read all the time.) I've also been playing an unhealthy amount of HP Know-it-all trivia on facebook, and I can name 191 characters out of the top 200 HP characters. (Somehow, I couldn't be bothered to try again although I'm sure I'd know them all now.) I've also been hunting down stills from HP 7.1 so that I can make icons. And I have not been translating at all even though I should really get to work on my fanfic... oh well.
HP's also put me in the Christmas spirit alright; it's making me oh so nostalgic. I can't stop listening to my Christmas CDs, especially the Glee CD. And I saw a sneak peek from the Christmas episode (Chris Colfer and Darren Criss basically being adorable together!), and now I very badly want to catch up on Glee. Wheeen, though? Luckily, the stupid German casting show I've been watching ends next week, so this should make room for Glee.
And because I was tired of eating gingerbread from the supermarket, I decided to finally try out the recipe for Honey Spice Cake I found over on Mel's Sweet Treats. It turned out really yummy, but I had to scrape of the top because it wouldn't come out of the cake tin.

Sorry for the blurry picture. But I guess you can see the yumminess emanating from it. :D
Speaking of pictures... some of you may know that I dyed my hair! It's light brown now (as opposed to dark blonde... ooh, the excitement!), with a slight red tint, so I'm joining in the marmfish trend. Unfortunately, I realised when clicking myself through the pictures I took of myself with the new haircolour that there is not even a semi-decent picture among them. So maybe I will have to try again. Or you'll have to wait until I have dyed my hair a slightly darker colour. :) I'm glad I did something experimental again though. I was starting not to like myself anymore, which always happens when I get bored with my hair.
Sooo... anything else? Oh yeah! I already have most of the Christmas presents for my family, and I have also found something for the Secret Santa I'm doing. I'm waaay ahead of time. :)
And now I'm off to continue reading Goblet of Fire. Which wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that Harry is a Triwizard champion. Pity. :D
