So, Fuck.

So, I struggled with this bloody long entry about the week I spent in Tecklenburg and Cologne for I don't know how long because of the lack of practice I've had with English lately. I had it all typed up and then I hit the wrong button and now it's all gone. I'm crying furious tears at the moment because I could really have used that time for sorting out other stuff as well. I really don't have the nerve to type this entry up again - not at the moment anyway. For those of you who can, go read the German entry. It's loads better anyway. And now excuse me, I have to be off for some swearing.

ETA: After bitching around on twitter that everybody should go read my German entry since there was Google translator, I decided it wasn't such a bad idea to use it to roughly translate my entry. I had to change quite a lot since I seem to use an unholy amount of phrases and figures of speech Google translator doesn't know, but now my entry is up! I hope I didn't overlook any horrible mistakes...

I feel your pain. It's so frustrating when something like that happens.

As for you practising your English, I doubt that you have anything to worry about. Obviously, I don't want to stop you from practising and I also can't tell what your classmates' English is like in comparison, but I think your English is very, very good. When I was still at school about 15 years ago, no one's English was as good as yours. Actually, I really admire you for your command of the language.

Well, I found a fun way to rewrite it in the end. "Alles halb so wild" - Google translator says: "All wild half!"

Ooh, thank you. :) That definitely makes me feel better. And I do know that my English is good (my classmates' English makes me cringe every day), but sometimes I just feel as though it isn't flowing, and that's often the case when I haven't written an English text for a while. It's probably just a weird unjustified feeling, but it's annoying. Thanks again - especially since your English is not so bad either!

Thank you as well. :)
